Communities In Schools of the Dallas Region supports more than 10,000 students annually with case management and mental health services, as well as 50,000 students in schoolwide supports, afterschool and summer programming. Your donation will allow us to serve a student's direct needs, so they may succeed in school and achieve in life.
Students that we serve are recognized as high-need, as determined by partner school districts, campuses and their staff. We develop an individualized case management plan for every student, tailored to what they need the most– from academic tutoring in a difficult subject, to mentorship and counseling during a particularly challenging time, to testing support that will enable the student to graduate and access college. We work with partnering non-profits across the community to deliver wraparound services or provide professional care. Additionally, our clinical team provides mental health support to students through one-on-one counseling, psychoeducational groups and referrals to clinical partners. Through this continuum of service, we see our students achieve in their education, progress from grade to grade and graduate, giving them the opportunity of a bright future.
